Memphis is the title character and the main protagonist. He is a happy go lucky kid. Memphis is a nine-year-old kid with large brown eyes with even larger pupils! He also has no(or invisible) arms with large hands and feet. He is mostly seen smiling because of his happy personality. Memphis has a red bow tie. His signal is a yellow circle(representing him)inside a life preserver(usually blue), probably to convince people to have one just in case a person is overboard. Strangely, neither Memphis or the series involve life preservers. Because of his good nature on conscience, Memphis has very few enemies.
